Thanks to Julia(another preschool mommy), we have this sweet picture. Elise wants baby brother in all her pictures. She's so proud to be a big sister.

I didn't know your Mom was a specialist in diabetes... what does she do? Type 1 isn't typically hereditary, having said that, there are other factors.
She looks so proud of being a big sister! Thank goodness someone else had a camera to catch the moment.
