Elise caught her first fish!

Jeff's family had a tradition of going to Rainbow Lake, CO and fishing every summer with his grandparents. Jeff's parents invited us along with the rest of his siblings to revist the lake and re-live some old memories. Jeff was so excited to take us up to the cabins and spend some downtime out in nature. We were all excited to get out of Texas on the hottest weekend of the year.

We got to the lake on Sunday late afternoon but not too late to try to get some fishing in. Wouldn't you know it, Elise got the very first fish of the trip within a half-in-hour of the first cast. We then all joked with Elise that we wanted to use her pink-princess rod. Of course her reply was, "noooooooo!"

The next morning Jeff and Elise were up and at them(fishing) as soon as their feet hit the floor. I can't tell you how many times Jeff told me, "this is soo much fun, I've been waiting to do stuff like this with Elise". It was great to see them having some good daddy-daughter time.
